Paperclip and Multica pitch people and agents working as one team, and have 111.3K and 55.0K GitHub stars. Switch has 3.9K, and on Reddit only its own posts, in subreddits that get 12 and 16 visitors a week. Reddit is on page one for 35 searches teams make while putting agents into Slack, Teams and Discord. Switch is named in none of those threads, in none of the 21 live ones this month, and in 0 of 16 answers from Claude and ChatGPT.
Every Reddit post about Switch so far
6 posts, 1 comment between them. They went to r/flint_ai and r/switch_ai, where almost nobody reads, and to r/hackathon. The only other thread is a news repost in r/artificial, “SandboxAQ releases Switch for shared AI-agent workspaces” (6 upvotes, 6 comments). The people Switch is for read r/ClaudeCode (1.2M a week), r/selfhosted (546K) and r/AI_Agents (292K).
Teams describe what Switch does, in their own words. A colleague can’t pick up where your Claude Code session left off. Two engineers book a meeting to share what their agents did. Someone has become “a human API between Slack and Claude”. A company outgrew one person’s OpenClaw. The answers they get are tmux, markdown files and meetings.
“I need her to pick up where I left off nd there is no clean way to do that.”
“Two engineers working in two different tasks and need help from each other, they need to setup a meeting to share what’s the problem, what has been done so far and why.”
“Did you start on OC and switch to something else? Why?”
“Bots that need to coordinate do it in a private chat.”
The last one is Switch’s design: a room per piece of work, the right agents in it, a person who signs off. It was written about a setup somebody built by hand.

“Switch” is shared with a data-center company, four other “Switch AI” apps and a games console. Every post we write says Switch by SandboxAQ and names sandbox-quantum/switch, so readers, Google and the AI assistants can tell which Switch is meant.

“There’s no mature open-source project that runs both Claude Code and Codex in Slack for a whole team.”
“I’d avoid personal-assistant projects like OpenClaw for this. They’re built for a single user with broad machine access, not for a shared team channel.”
“I’d start with Pantalk for a self-hosted, open-source setup supporting both Claude Code and Codex.”
Claude describes Switch and says it doesn’t exist. ChatGPT searched the web and found Pantalk, Cogent and Block’s Buzz, not Switch. Assistants pick up which tools to name from what developers write in public, and Reddit threads are a large part of that.
